Definition – Bariatric Full Electric Hospital Bed

A bariatric full electric bed has the following functionality:

• Head raises and lowers electrically with a controller
• Foot raises and lowers electrically with a controller
• Bed raises and lowers electrically with a controller

Our bariatric hospital bed rental comes standard with 7″ foam mattress. These units are designed to accommodate persons weighing more than 300 lb and up to 600 lb. These unit are 2x heavier and require at least two people to deliver and assemble them. A bariatric full electric use a 7″ foam or inner spring mattress that fits a 48″ x 88″ or 42″ x 88″ frame.
